先週金曜日にフィリピンから来日した４名プラス・ワン、合計５名を全社朝礼で歓迎しました。
At our company-wide morning assembly, we gave a warm welcome to five people — four who arrived from the Philippines last Friday, plus one more.
全員、立派に日本語で自己紹介してくれました。しっかり勉強してきたな～ 感心、感心。 少しでも歓迎の気持ちを形にしようと、初めて、英語の辞令を交付しました。これもいい経験になりました。
They all introduced themselves in Japanese, and they did such a great job! I was really impressed — you can tell they’ve been studying hard. To show our welcome in a small way, we handed out appointment letters in English for the first time. That, too, turned out to be a great experience.
この５人に加え、３年先輩のNくんを加えた６名のフィリピン人がきっと新しい風を持ち込んで、ＩＳＯＷＡの社風にゆらぎを与えてくれると期待しています。ガンバレ！みんな、応援してるよ。
Along with these five, we now have six members from the Philippines, including N, who joined us three years earlier. I’m sure they’ll bring fresh energy and give ISOWA’s culture a good shake in the best way. Go for it, everyone — we’re all cheering you on!
さて、ちょうどこの日、ＩＳＯＷＡの福岡出張所に常駐してもらうことになったＫくんが、手続きなどで、初めて本社を訪問してくれました。
And on that very same day, K, who’s going to be stationed at ISOWA’s Fukuoka branch, dropped by our headquarters for the first time to take care of some paperwork and formalities.
せっかくだから、急遽、Ｋくんからもひと言挨拶をしてもらいました。Ｋくんも、これからよろしく！
